Long-Term Care Financing & Planning is What we Do!

The first step is to consider the purchase of long-term care insurance...Since these polices come with "concierge" services to find appropriate caregivers, this is a must-do for women who are alone...The time to buy is in your late 50s or early 60s, when costs are lower and you're healthy enough to qualify.

We look forward to hearing from Long Term Care Insurance Pros on the anniversary of our policies. We love hearing how my benefits have increased while our premiums have stayed the same.

Planning For Long-Term Care Needs

Gerontologist Ken Dychtwald has pointed out that there is a huge issue that could impact millions of seniors---Who is going to pay for any long-term care needs?

Dychtwald's company, Age Wave, and Harris Interactive conducted a survey for Genworth Financial. It was designed to uncover Americans'attitudes and opinions around key retirement interests and concerns.

The survey revealed important psychological barriers preventing families from talking about their plans for longer lives. The results help gain a deeper understanding of how increasing longevity and the aging of the boomers impacts family relationships and the role of long-term care in their future well-being.

The Forum is part of Genworth Financial's "Let's Talk" campaign. It was launched to provide families with ideas for initiating sensitive conversations about potential long-term care solutions with loved ones--making those interactions easier, more productive and emotionally rewarding.

The Key topics of Investigation are:

  • Charting a Course for a Longer Life
  • Health and Financial Independence in Later Life
  • Talking with Loved Ones about Long-Term Care
  • Guidance and Solutions for Long-Term Care
